Cowboy Country Coolers, are also known as rustic ice
chests, wooden
ice chests and rustic coolers. Our Cowboy Country Coolers are uniquely designed ice chests made
from new western red cedar and built around an Igloo ice chest insert.
While many may try, our special design makes our Cowboy
Country Coolers true works of art as well as the best made product of
its kind. Using real 52, 70, or 100 quart
insulated MaxCold Igloo ice chest inserts, they hold ice longer than our
competitors who use foam and metal inserts. Attractive,
durable and easy to clean, our customers tell us these rustic ice chests
are the finest on the market. High quality cabinet style construction and built to
last. With an old fashioned water tight brass spigot drain system on the two larger models,
they are easy to drain and clean. Just open the spigot to drain the
water and wipe out with a sponge. Each unit is fully assembled and ready to use. Handles, bottle opener, spigot drain and basic decorations are included at no additional cost. The design options are seemingly endless and each one is uniquely designed to match your decor or custom specifications. Pricing and Options - Prices for each size cooler are listed above along with the dimensions. The base price includes all cast iron hardware you choose to have installed. Please visit our Design Options and Photo Gallery pages to get more ideas of what we have done in the past. Several options are available that you may want to consider for your cooler. We can install CASTERS which allow the cooler to be moved around easily - even when full. Casters are a $35 option. Another popular option is the application of a WEATHER SEALANT which not only adds water resistance but also UV protection to keep the wood from graying prematurely. This option is $25. Shipping - Because each cooler we build is shipped fully assembled, truck freight is used for most orders. Cedar is naturally insect and weather resistant making a very durable and beautiful product. Adding Thompson Weather Seal will add years of life to the natural beauty of cedar. Leave them in the weather to get the weathered rustic wooden look of naturally grayed wood. Our solid cabinet style construction, rust proof screws and waterproof commercial adhesives allow our wooden ice chests to last for many seasons of use. After testing foam and metal ice chest inserts, we found that the reliable insulated Igloo cooler was the most durable and retained hot and cold longer than any other product on the market. We also offer old fashioned DECORATIVE BRANDING - only a $35 option for most anything you can come up with. We can custom brand initials, family or ranch names on the top or front of your cooler.
